First a little background on (y/n):
(y/n) was in SOLDIER during the same time as Zack(from Crisis Core). They were best friends and both saw Angeal as a mentor, but (y/n) definitely saw him more as a father-figure more than mentor because his parents were killed by, well, we'll get to that in later parts. (y/n) went on all the missions Zack went on with him, and was there when Zack was forced to kill Angeal. When Cloud was promoted from Infantry to SOLDIER, him, Zack, and (y/n) became a trio of best friends. Eventually, Zack is killed by Shinra, and (y/n) tends to Cloud as Zack does his best to fight off the Shinra troops. When Zack is dying, (y/n) and Cloud are grief-stricken as they watch their best friend leave them. Tifa was there for (y/n) and Aerith was there for Cloud to help them cope with their grief. Eventually, Tifa and (y/n) become friends. Eventually, (y/n) manages to break his shy nature and ask Tifa out, and charms her with his sweet, kind, caring, and loving personality.Cloud and Aerith fall in love and go out as well. And then she dies and all that other stuff that happens in FF7 (Except for like, Tifa x Cloud. Obviously. And kids being adopted. That doesn't happen in this. The only Final Fantasy I know a good bit about is Crisis Core, and even then, I only got to the first mission after you kill Angeal before I accidentally deleted my save data. And I really don't feel like doing that again. But I probably will.). (y/n)'s fighting style is a weird yet cool mix of Brawling, like Tifa, and using a Greatsword(go to this link to see the sword (y/n) uses: darksouls.wikia.com/wiki/File:…
) Cloud has recently gone missing, and (y/n) doing what they can to find him. And instead of always being upset about him being gone, Tifa and (y/n) try to be as optimistic as possible about finding him and remember the good memories they have with and about him.
NOW ON TO THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!
Anything that is in parentheses, except for the things like (y/n) and (e/c) and stuff like that
I ducked under the punch thrown at my face, then quickly weaved to the right and threw a punch at my opponent. She leaned back, dodging it, and then grabbed my arm and threw me across the room. I landed on the cold, hard stone floor with a "THUD"
"C'mon (y/n)! Try a little harder!" Tifa said as she fixed her gloves.
We were currently starting a lesson Tifa was trying to enhance my brawling skills so I would be better in a fight if I lost my sword for some reason.I let out a low growl as I rolled off my back and onto my feet. I shook my head to help myself get focused, and focused back on my target. My beautiful, amazing, gorgeous, kind, loving target-
"Focus (y/n)!" Tifa yelled as she ran towards me and threw a powerful punch towards my face.
My eyes widened in shock as I let out a gasp and quickly rolled under and behind Tifa, barely dodging that punch. I got on my feet and looked to where Tifa was and saw that she had punched a spot on the wall right where my head was. The bricks that were there had had severe cracks in them that I'm sure weren't there until now. Tifa turned around and looked at me. She raised her fists to her face and advanced towards me. I met her in the middle of the room with my own fists raised. She threw a ruick jab towards my face. I moved to the left, a quick "whoosh"
passing my ear. Tifa threw a right hook to my face and met my left cheek, causing my head to jerk right. Tifa acted on this and threw a left hook, and then a jab to my face. My head jerked backwards as I could already feel my face start to swell.
I felt blood trickle from my nose from that last punch as I shook my head and regained my focus. Tifa began to throw rapid punches at my face. I barely managed to dodge them all. She threw one more punch at my face. Time seemed to slow down as I quickly lifted my arm and put it on top of Tifa's, directing her punch down. Seeing an opportunity, I quickly threw a punch at Tifa's face. But she had managed to anticipate my move and caught my fist with her gloved hand. I could see a stern and focused look on her face as the pace of the fight slowed down. And then I felt it: A powerful punch right in my gut. I retched forward and coughed up blood, clutching my stomach. My eyes threatened to pop out my head as the impact spread through my body.
Tifa quickly rushed forward and wrapped her arms around my torso, trapping me in her grasp. I felt my body leave the ground as Tifa heaved me up and spun me around in the air, and then slammed me down to the ground."CRRRRACK."
I yelled as I felt something in my back get moved.
Tifa quickly jumped on top of me, straddling me. She pulled a fist back, ready to punch. I closed my eyes, expecting to feel a strong fist hit my face, and then fade into darkness. I kept my eyes shut tight for a little longer, and then slowly started to open them, confused about why I wasn't unconscious yet. I looked up into Tifa's beautiful, large, brown eyes.TIFA'S P.O.V.
I looked down into (y/n)'s pain stricken eyes as I prepared to punch his beautiful face. Then i stopped as I realized that the match was over, and who I would be punching. Then I remembered how the sparring match had went.YOUR P.O.V.
"Oh my god! (y/n) are you ok?!" Tifa asked me as her look softened and she lowered her fist.
I didn't have the oppurtunity to answer as she pulled me up onto my feet. A bad pain sprung in my back as I straightened up.
"AHHH!!!" I yelled as I stiffened and then fell down, causing the pain in my back to grow even worse.
Tifa's face had a look of worry on it as she kneeled down and put her hands on my arms.
"What's wrong (y/n)?!" Tifa asked, worried and scared.
"I-I think you m-m-might have dislocated something i-in my back!" I managed to say through the pain.
"O-Oh! Ok, (y/n). I'm gonna need you to bear with me while I try to help you, ok?" Tifa said
I grit my teeth and managed to nod. Tifa slowly flipped me over onto my back. I let out a pained wince as she did this. Tifa got me onto my stomach, and then slowly ran her hand down my back. Her hand made contact with the heart of the pain in my back, and I let out a grunt to signify she had found the problem.
"Ok (y/n)! I see the problem. There's something pushed a bit to the left of everything else. I'm gonna move it back. Here, hold my hand." Tifa said.
I felt one of her hands go into one of my own, so I grasped it tight.
"This is gonna hurt (y/n)." Tifa said.
I tried to brace myself for the pain, but it was no use. Tifa moved whatever was dislocated back in place, and I felt a pain similar to what I felt when she slammed me on the ground. I squeezed her hand tighter, positive that it didn't affect her, and contained a yell through my gritted teeth. I stayed like this for awhile, until finally, the pain subsided, leaving my back slightly sore.
Tifa rolled me back over slowly, and then stood up, slowly pulling me back up. I looked up into her beautiful, brown eyes, and she stared down into my (e/c) ones. Then she put her arms on my shoulders and quickly pulled me forward into her chest(you're about eye level with her, uhhh, y'know, yeah.) and hugged me tight.
"I'm so sorry (y/n)!! I shouldn't have gone that far I was so worried!" Tifa said as she smothered me.
"C-C-Can't breathe!" I said, though it came out muffled.
"Oh!" She replied before pulling my head out of her chest.
I took a breath, and then said, "I-I-It's ok, Tifa."
"Are you sure?" She asked.
I nodded my head in response.
"Ok. Well, I still wanna make it up to you. I know! How about I make you some of that ramen you love so much?" Tifa said.
"R-REALLY???!!!!!" I asked, stars in my eyes.(Like in that thing kids call "Animoo", or is it "Animama", no, that's not it. Oh! Anime!)
"Yup!" Tifa replied.
I hugged Tifa and rubbed my head against her chest, excited for ramen. Tifa wrapped her arms back around me and let out an "Awwwwww." I held close a while longer, then let go, smiling.TIMESKIP TO RAMEN TIME
It was currently late in the night, and 7th Heaven was closed for the day(even though most bars are open at night). I watched as Tifa boiled the noodles in a pot in the kitchen of her bar, ecstatic for the ramen to come. Tifa looked back at me and walked over to me, and then cupped my face in her palms.
"Oops! We were so caught up on fixing your back and me making you ramen so much that I completely forgot to heal your face!" Tifa said.
I put a hand to my cheek and felt that it was slightly swollen.
"Huh, I guess you're right." I said, surprised.
Tifa reached into the pocket of her black skirt and pulled out a heal materia, and then used it on me. In a few quick moments, my face was healed completely, and it was clean of any blood.
"Thanks Tifa." I said, grateful.
She cupped my face again, leaned down and gave me a soft kiss on the lips, then said, "No problem (y/n)." Then walked back over to the pot.
"Now go sit at the bar, your food is almost ready." Tifa stated.
I nodded and then walked out of the kitchen and hopped over the bar and sat on a stool, waiting for the ramen. A few moments later, Tifa arrived with a bowl of (favorite flavor of ramen) ramen. She set it down in front of me and smiled.
"Thanks Tifa, you're the best!" I said.
"Awwww, no problem." Tifa said
I grabbed a spoon, and then dug into the bowl. I slurped noodle after noodle down my throat, and then gulped down the juice in a few minutes. The taste was amazing!
"That was awesome!" I yelled
"I'm glad you liked it." Tifa said from behind the bar.
She walked over towards me and grabbed the bowl, then walked into the kitchen and put it in the sink to be washed later. Tifa came back to the bar and climbed over it and stood behind me. I turned around on my stool and looked at Tifa. She had a hand on her hip and looked down at me with a smirk on her face. Then she leaned down and kissed me on my lips. I leaned back, surprised, and then closed my eyes and melted into the kiss. Tifa put her hands on my shoulders and pushed me against the bar, still kissing me. I put my hands on Tifa's sides as we kissed, and then weaved my fingers through her raven-black hair.
After a few moments, Tifa pulled away, a small strand of saliva still connecting our lips that were hungry for each other's passion and love.
"I love you." Tifa said.
"I love you too." I returned.
We looked into each other's eyes a bit longer, and then Tifa pulled me close and held me tight.
"There's so much we have to worry about, what if we can't handle it (y/n)?" Tifa asked.
"I-I-I think we'll be just fine." I said reassuring her.
Tifa held me even tighter. I just rest my head on her chest and wrapped my arms around her, hoping I was helping her.
"Let's go to bed (y/n)." Tifa stated
"Ok." I said.
Tifa pulled me off the stool, and then led me up the stairs. As we walked up the stairs, a thought came to my mind.
"One day, I'll beat you, and then we'll find Cloud." I said.
"I'm sure you will. But it'll be awhile before you do. The only way Cloud can beat me is because of that Mako energy he's got inside him." Tifa replied with a giggle and a smile.
I paled slightly and then said, "R-Really?"
"Yup. He said so himself."'I'll never beat her at this rate.'
We got up the stairs and into our bedroom. I walked over to one side of the bed and got in, and Tifa did the same on the opposite side of the bed. We rolled over met in the middle. Tifa wrapped an arm around me and pulled me closer to her. I wrapped an arm around her too and put my head in the crook of her neck. I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep in Tifa's arms.TIMESKIP TO 2 HOURS
I woke up with a gasp and in a cold sweat. I quickly sat up and looked around. Memories from my dream rushed into my head. Tears came to my eyes as I sat there, wondering if what I dreamed was true.
I felt a soft hand touch my shoulder. I looked over and saw Tifa with a concerned look on her face.
"(y/n)? What's wrong?" She asked, a worried tone in her voice.
"......Tifa. W-What if Cloud is-is-is dead?" I asked through tears.
Tifa pulled me close in a hug as I just cried into her chest. She rubbed my back and held my head, trying to help me.
"There's no need to worry about that, (y/n). Cloud's strong, I'm sure wherever he's at he's just fine." Tifa said in a comforting tone.
Tifa held me like that, comforting me for awhile. I cried hard, letting my emotions run free.
"B-But-" I started
"No buts. Cloud's fine (y/n). I'm positive." Tifa said.
She laid back down, bringing me with her. I kept my head over her heart, and I cried, until finally, I fell asleep with Tifa holding me close. THE END
